Moovsoon is a small, nimble technology company solving a major problem in the moving and home services industry. We operate in a fast-paced startup environment, move quickly, and are currently in the middle of a fundraising round.
As our product and engineering pipeline grows, we need someone who can help coordinate product initiatives, maintain momentum across the roadmap, and ensure every release is thoroughly tested before reaching customers.
The Role
We are looking for a hybrid Product Project Manager and QA Specialist with strong technical fluency and a full-stack understanding.
This person will help manage the execution of our product roadmap while remaining actively involved in hands-on quality assurance. You will work closely with leadership, product, and engineering to turn product priorities into clear requirements, organize projects and releases, track progress, identify blockers, and validate that completed work functions correctly in real-world scenarios.
You will also help translate product functionality into clear standard operating procedures, implementation guides, and best practices that our clients and internal teams can easily follow.
This is an execution-focused role. You should be comfortable moving between roadmap discussions, Jira tickets, sprint coordination, feature testing, bug documentation, release readiness, and client-facing product documentation.
The goal is for this position to grow into a full-time leadership role across product operations, project management, and quality assurance as the company scales.
What You Will Do
Product Roadmap and Project Management
- Support leadership in organizing, prioritizing, and maintaining the product roadmap.
- Translate product ideas and business requirements into clearly defined projects, user stories, acceptance criteria, and engineering tasks.
- Coordinate product initiatives from initial requirements through development, QA, release, and post-launch follow-up.
- Maintain project timelines, owners, dependencies, priorities, and status updates in Jira.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and project check-ins.
- Identify risks, blockers, unclear requirements, and dependencies before they delay delivery.
- Follow up across teams to ensure decisions are documented and projects continue moving forward.
- Help balance customer requests, technical priorities, bugs, and strategic roadmap initiatives.
- Provide leadership with clear visibility into roadmap progress, release readiness, and areas requiring decisions.
Quality Assurance and Release Testing
- Write, manage, and execute comprehensive test plans, testing scenarios, and acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Test new features, integrations, workflows, and bug fixes across the full product experience.
- Think through edge cases, failure scenarios, permissions, data behavior, and real-world customer use cases.
- Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected behavior, actual behavior, supporting evidence, and business impact.
- Work directly with engineers to troubleshoot issues and confirm fixes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new releases do not disrupt existing functionality.
- Help establish release-readiness standards and ensure features are fully validated before production deployment.
- Continuously improve the company's QA processes, testing documentation, and product release workflows.
Product Implementation and Documentation
- Create and maintain product implementation SOPs, internal playbooks, onboarding materials, and client-facing best practices.
- Translate technical functionality into clear, accessible documentation for nontechnical users.
- Help ensure new features are practical, understandable, and valuable to the end user.
- Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders and convert it into actionable product insights.
- Partner with product, engineering, implementation, and customer-facing teams to close gaps between what is built and how it is used.
What We Are Looking For
Product and Project Management Skills
- Experience coordinating software projects, product initiatives, or technical implementations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, owners, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Ability to turn loosely defined ideas into structured requirements, tasks, acceptance criteria, and execution plans.
- Comfortable working with Jira or a similar project management and issue-tracking platform.
- Able to communicate project status, risks, tradeoffs, and next steps clearly.
Technical Fluency and QA Rigor
- Technical or full-stack development knowledge that enables you to understand application architecture, communicate effectively with engineers, and create thorough test scenarios.
- Experience with manual software testing, bug reporting, regression testing, and release validation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify edge cases that others may overlook.
- Comfortable investigating technical issues and asking the right questions without requiring constant direction.
