We are looking for aQA Managerto join a leading company inMakati City. This is afull-time onsite role, workingMondayFriday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with acompetitive salary package of up to 170,000, depending on experience.
The QA Manager will lead the Quality Engineering unit, driving test automation initiatives, process improvements, and quality strategy development. This role requires strong technical skills, deep testing expertise, andat least 2 years of leadership or managerial experience, ideally in thebanking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and testing standards
- Lead QA team in performing functional, regression, and performance tests
- Drive test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium or Robot Framework
- Ensure thorough documentation of FSDs, BRDs, and RTMs
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across SDLC
- Manage team workload, timelines, and deliverables
- Coach and mentor QA engineers to build team capabilities
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in QA practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred)
- At least 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance (Manual & Automation)
- Experience working with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework)
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on testing experience (functional, regression, performance)
- At least 3 years of experience in the banking industry (required)
- At least 2 years of managerial or leadership experience (required)
- Strong experience with AWS and GCP
- Solid skills in SQL/PLSQL and database testing (preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices, and Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong documentation experience in FSDs and RTMs (preferred)
- Test Analyst certifications (e.g., CTFL) are a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
