Role Description As a QA Engineer, Product & Technical Support Specialist at Everis, you will work in a full-time, remote role focused on ensuring product quality and providing hands-on technical support. On a typical day, you will review requirements, design and execute manual test cases, log and track defects, and validate bug fixes across multiple web and SaaS applications. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify expected behavior, reproduce customer-reported issues, and suggest improvements to usability, reliability, and performance. The role also includes responding to support tickets, troubleshooting technical issues, documenting workarounds, and updating knowledge base articles. You will help refine QA processes, contribute to release readiness checks, and provide feedback that drives more stable and user-friendly products.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Assurance skills, including understanding of QA processes, defect lifecycle, and best practices for software quality.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and Test Execution for web or SaaS applications.
- Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and repeatable Test Cases as part of structured Software Testing.
- Comfort working in a Product & Technical Support capacity, including troubleshooting, issue reproduction, and communication with non-technical users.
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues, or similar) and basic understanding of version control workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on root-cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including clear documentation and ticket updates.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Experience testing SaaS products or customer-facing applications is preferred; exposure to basic SQL, APIs, or browser dev tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
