About the Role

You will ensure the quality, reliability, and correctness of our strategic backoffice Customer Admin platform used by our Customer Service and Compliance teams. Customer Admin is a high-volume, operationally critical system with complex workflows, role-based permissions, and regulatory impact. Quality is not validated solely through manual testing you are expected to embed quality into the delivery lifecycle. Automation is a core part of how we deliver quickly, safely and repeatedly.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites covering UI, API, and end-to-end workflows within Customer Admin.
• Execute automated regression testing as part of regular delivery cycles to ensure existing operational journeys remain stable.
• Build and use local Docker-based environments, harnesses, and mocked data to support repeatable and reliable test execution.
• Validate role-based and permission-driven behaviour across Customer Admin (e.g. different access levels and workflows).
• Work with frontend and backend engineers to define testable acceptance criteria and ensure coverage of edge cases.
• Perform targeted exploratory and manual testing where automation is not appropriate, feeding findings back into automated coverage.
• Identify, document, and triage defects, working closely with engineering teams through to resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.

What You Bring

• 35+ years of QA engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated UI and API test suites (e.g. Playwright, Cypress,
• Selenium, REST Assured, or equivalent).
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Java for test development.
• Strong experience running and managing Docker-based test environments, including harnesses, mocked services, and local dependencies.
• Comfortable working with Docker alternatives such as Colima or Rancher.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of testing across complex, permission-driven systems.
• Clear communicator who works effectively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
• Experience working in regulated domains (iGaming, fintech, compliance).
• Familiarity with contract testing or API schema validation approaches.
