The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that quality is planned, implemented, maintained, and continuously monitored throughout the project lifecycle in compliance with Ericsson and customer workmanship standards. The role provides quality governance, reporting, and coordination between Ericsson, customers, and partners, supporting successful project delivery.

What you will do:

  • Ensure quality planning, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring in accordance with Ericsson and customer workmanship standards.
  • Create and maintain a project-specific Quality Plan.
  • Monitor and provide governance to the Project Quality Plan.
  • Prepare and submit weekly quality reports.
  • Support the Project Director (PD) and Customer Project Manager (CPM) on all quality-related matters.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the approved quality plan across all project activities.
  • Escalate and raise quality-related issues to the Program Director as required.
  • Manage quality-related communication and reporting between Ericsson and Globe Quality Teams.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for project quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track ASP and project quality performance KPIs using the Quality Dashboard.
  • Support and conduct workmanship trainings as a trainer when required.
  • Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and plans at all times.

The Skills You Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in telecom installation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance within telecom projects.
  • Familiarity with Radio Access Network (RAN) nodes and installations.
  • Demonstrated rigor and discipline in quality compliance.
  • Knowledge of Nokia and/or Huawei standards is required.
  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) experience is an advantage.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders including customers, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive quality culture on-site.
  • Willingness to work in field environments as required by the project.
  • Must be able to relocate to Davao/CDO
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Effective presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capability.
  • High attention to detail and quality orientation.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Data analysis and KPI tracking experience.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Effective time management and ability to work under deadlines.
