About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will identify and resolve issues to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Our WEB FE area is pivotal, providing central services for the company's award-winning games and customer service. Utilizing frameworks like React and NodeJS, we create mobile-first, responsive websites and APIs for services such as payment processing, in-game offer generation, fraud detection, and iCasino data aggregation.

Join our talented team of software and QA engineers. You'll work seamlessly with engineers, development teams, and product managers to maintain our high-quality standards. Your role is key to delivering exceptional player experiences.

We focus on developing full-stack solutions within vertical teams, enabling to deliver high-quality features to players, regardless of their device or location.

What You'll Do

Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop and execute test cases following the test strategy.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure effective test approaches for features.
• Ensure releases meet business needs and maintain high quality.
• Perform various testing types, including functional and regression.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

• Identify, document, and track defects efficiently.
• Work with developers to resolve and verify defect fixes.
• Participate in review meetings to share insights for quality improvement.

Quality Advocacy:

• Promote quality principles and best practices within the team.
• Help integrate quality into the development process.
• Support continuous improvement in software delivery.
• Contribute to testing strategies and CI/CD integration.

Automation and Tools:

• Develop and maintain automated tests for efficiency.
• Use tools and frameworks to improve testing processes.
• Stay current with industry best practices in test automation.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Define and uphold quality standards with the Agile Team.
• Align with product owners and developers on quality goals.
• Provide progress updates and quality metrics.
• Improve engineering processes and communicate quality principles.
• Address recurring issues through retrospectives.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain accurate test documentation.
• Ensure accessibility and up-to-date information for stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methods, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Proficient with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Percy, and scripting languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
• Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Dynatrace or Splunk.
• Experience with mobile emulation tools such as BrowserStack or SauceLabs.
• Proficient in using Charles, Postman, or similar technologies.
• Familiar with source control tools like GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
