  • Position: QA Engineer
  • Company: Well-Established US Medical & Healthcare Packaging Manufacturing MNC
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:15pm
  • Salary: Up to $3,500, commensurate with experience
  • AWS + Variable Performance Bonus
  • Working Location: Tuas
  • Company Transport Provided from Jurong Area

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections and testing on incoming raw materials, in-process products and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Ensure products meet required quality specifications, customer requirements and applicable quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes and identify quality issues, abnormalities and potential product defects.
  • Investigate product defects and non-conformities, and support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve day-to-day quality and manufacturing issues.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test results and other relevant QA documentation.
  • Support investigations into customer complaints, identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external quality audits.
  • Monitor quality performance and trends, and prepare quality reports for management review.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve product quality and enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with established Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, company policies and workplace safety requirements.
  • Perform other quality-related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of relevant QA/QC experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of quality inspection, root cause analysis, CAPA and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or Quality Management Systems (QMS) will be an added advantage.
  • Able to read and understand technical specifications, drawings and quality standards.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production and Engineering.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Candidates with experience in medical, healthcare, packaging or regulated manufacturing environments will have an added advantage.
