Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
- Come up with Test Plan and write Test Cases for Web Applications
- Execute the Test Cases Manually and provide sign Offs
- Define test automation strategies.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites as per below.
- UI Automation:
- Experience on Java or Python programming languages.
- Expertise in creation of test scripts
- Capturing elements dynamically and writing gherkin files
- Basic knowledge/experience on any automation testing tools (ex: Selenium, Test complete etc..)
API Automation
- Good experience on postman
- Any framework experience using below tools.
- Apache Jmeter,
- Rest Assured
- Ready api
- SoapUI
- Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
- Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
- Maintain code using Source Control systems majorly Git
- Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech: [Computer Science] / MCA
- 5+ years of proven experience in test automation
- Strong Manual Testing skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience with Agile software development processes and practices.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
- Experience with version control systems majorly Git is a must
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab CI, BitBucket CI , or similar is a must
WORK SCHEDULE: Night shift only 3pm to 12mn (Hybrid / Onsite 2-3 days per week)
WORK LOCATION: MAKATI
