Role- QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Experience: 5–8 Years

Education: MCA, B.E/B-Tech (Computers)

Location: Remote – Work from Home (India)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days or 1 month preferred

Shift Timings: Evening Shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST)

Key Responsibilities

Design & develop automation test scripts using Python, Playwright, Pywinauto & PyTest

Build & maintain automation frameworks for desktop & web applications using Java + Selenium and Python + Pywinauto

Define automation strategy & identify test cases for web, desktop & API testing

Perform manual testing to validate functional & non-functional requirements

Create & execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured

Perform SQL queries to validate backend data integrity in mortgage domain applications

Use Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, CI/CD pipeline execution & reporting

Collaborate with DevOps & development teams to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines

Apply mortgage domain knowledge to test scenarios (loan origination, servicing, compliance & defaults)

Ensure adherence to regulatory & compliance standards in mortgage-related applications

Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience in QA (Manual & Automation)

Strong proficiency in Python, Playwright, PyTest, Pywinauto & Java with Selenium

Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation

Expertise in SQL for backend testing & data validation

Experience in Mortgage Domain applications (Loan Origination, Servicing & Compliance)

Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD, defect tracking & test case management

Proficiency in testing desktop & web applications

Excellent collaboration & communication skills to work with cross-functional global teams

Willingness to work in the evening shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST)
