QA Automation Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, test automation frameworks, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Execute functional, regression, integration and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure quality gates are met.
- Analyze test results, identify defects and support troubleshooting.
- Contribute to test strategy, planning and continuous quality improvement.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of QA and test automation experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing, SQL, Git and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Good to Have
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, customer journeys, checkout, payment and order management workflows.
- Exposure to performance and accessibility testing.
