QA Analyst (UK Payroll & US Payroll)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Analyst with experience in UK and/or US Payroll systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for functional and regression testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery aligned with payroll statutory and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform functional testing to ensure the product meets system and business specifications.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that system updates do not introduce new defects.
• Create, prioritize, and execute basic to complex test cases following industry best practices.
• Participate in Requirements, Design, and Interface Specification reviews to ensure testability.
• Upload and manage manual test cases in JIRA, execute test scripts, and log/report defects.
• Track, maintain, and report defects in JIRA and third-party vendor systems (if required).
• Provide regular status updates and escalate issues to the QA Lead/Manager when necessary.
• Collaborate with project and QA teams to complete assigned tasks within timelines.
• Support audit processes and contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in Functional & Regression Testing.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA (ALM is a plus).
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred).

Domain Expertise (Preferred / Required Based on Role)

• Experience in UK Payroll & statutory requirements.
• Experience in US Payroll & compliance requirements.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules and middleware/direct integrations (plus).
• Experience with ADP Global View, Time & Attendance systems (Crown, WFM, Kronos).
