The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of iGaming products, including casino games, sports betting platforms, mobile applications, and back-office systems. The role involves planning and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Test web, mobile, and desktop applications for functionality, usability, compatibility, and performance.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before software releases.
- Review product requirements and provide feedback to improve test coverage.
- Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company quality standards.
- Test game features such as gameplay, bonuses, payment systems, and user account functionality.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release activities in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve QA processes, test documentation, and testing methodologies.
- Perform other duties related to quality assurance and operational support as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or QA Testing.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to work flexible schedules based on business and operational requirements, including weekends and Philippine holidays when necessary.
Skills And Competencies
- Experience in the iGaming, online casino, sports betting, or gaming industry.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of payment systems, gaming regulations, and Responsible Gaming principles.
