Position Title: Python Developer
Work Arrangements: Remote; Monday to Friday, regular PH business hours
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Python Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for open-source technologies, strong API development skills, and experience working with modern frameworks and cloud environments. The role focuses on building backend systems, data integration, and service development for enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs and services using Python with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Collaborate with product owners and other engineers to implement scalable backend solutions.
- Integrate third-party services and handle authentication and authorization securely.
- Work with open-source tools and libraries to enhance performance and functionality.
- Optimize code for performance and scalability in production environments.
- Design and manage databases; write effective SQL queries.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python.
- Proficiency in one or more Python frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SQL, and open-source tools.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and version control (Git).
