Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer with a strong foundation in core (vanilla/pure) Python and Linux scripting to join our growing team in Cebu. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the fundamentals-writing efficient, clean Python code without heavy reliance on frameworks.

You will work on backend logic, automation scripts, and system-level integrations, primarily in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using pure Python (vanilla Python)
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with strong emphasis on core language fundamentals
• Create and maintain Linux shell scripts (Bash) for automation and system operations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing scripts and applications
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in code reviews and maintain best coding practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Python development
• Strong experience in core Python (no heavy framework dependency required)
• 1-2 years of experience in Linux Shell Scripting / Bash
• Solid understanding of:
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • File handling and scripting logic
  • Debugging and performance optimization
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
