Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Officer to help in execute the optimization of our purchasing activities for the Food & Beverage business. The ideal candidate will be responsible in assisting in sourcing quality suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to support our operations. This role will also require the Procurement Assistant to go on a field work to purchase and look for our restaurant kitchen supplies and ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides observed market intelligence in the field.
  • Flexible to rover around 2-4 restaurant sites to check current stocks and replenish the needful.
  • Rovers around physical stores to purchase supplies for the restaurants.
  • Handles daily administrative task such us tracking outlets SKU's.
  • Conducts monthly inventory check and identify outlets variances, to ensure appropriate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Amenable to do price checking the market and select best price and quality for the company.
  • Assist end-to-end procurement processes including request for quotations, supplier evaluation, and order placement.
  • Continuously analyze and reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with vendors, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the F&B supply chain.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, food safety regulations, and legal compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 -2 years experience in procurement, preferably in the food & beverage or hospitality industry
  • Works M-F onsite in Makati office
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and import/export regulations preferred
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
