About the Role:

We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to support purchasing operations while working closely with the National Purchasing Manager. This remote role focuses on day-to-day purchasing activities in NetSuite, supplier coordination, and ensuring materials are ordered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the National Purchasing Manager on purchasing activities and priorities

• Create, review, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in NetSuite

• Maintain supplier records, pricing, and lead times in NetSuite

• Follow up with suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, and ETAs

• Monitor stock levels and assist with reorder planning

• Resolve PO, invoice, and delivery discrepancies

• Collaborate with the Accounts/Finance team to ensure POs match invoices and prices

• Communicate with internal teams (production, warehouse, finance)

• Ensure purchasing data is accurate and up to date in NetSuite

• Assist with basic purchasing and inventory reports

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in a Purchasing role

• Manufacturing, construction, or industrial purchasing experience

• Hands-on NetSuite experience (POs, suppliers, inventory)

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while supporting a national manager

• Comfortable working remotely during business hours

• Exposure to multi-site or national purchasing environments

• Experience with freight coordination and lead times
