Role Description The Purchasing Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Quezon City, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused purchasing. This job is responsible for sourcing, analysis, and dissemination of market development relating to Company's local and import material requirements including import and export processing and releasing. Supervises Purchasing Department in the absence of the Purchasing Managers.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and purchasing best practices, with the ability to standardize and improve workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in purchase management, including supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control.
  • Hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and managing purchase orders and related documentation.
  • Proficiency in purchasing and procurement operations, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Well-developed analytical skills to evaluate quotations, assess total cost of ownership, and generate data-driven purchasing decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environments is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems and strong skills in MS Excel and other productivity tools.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
