Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing Associate to support our procurement operations. The role involves sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services needed for company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Track orders and ensure the timely delivery of items
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, discrepancies, and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Assist in negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with inventory or procurement systems is an advantage
