Role Description The Purchasing and Material Planning Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Calamba. This role is responsible for overseeing purchasing activities and material planning to support continuous and efficient production operations. Daily tasks include managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices and terms, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The supervisor coordinates production planning with relevant departments, analyzes demand and supply data, and adjusts material plans to minimize shortages and excess stock. The role also involves preparing reports, improving procurement and planning processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customs Administration, or any related field.

Job Description:

· Manage sourcing, purchasing, and timely procurement of materials and services.

· Handle import and export transactions, ensuring compliance with PEZA regulations and requirements.

· Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and brokers for shipment schedules and documentation.

· Oversee and process customs clearance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of import/export documents.

· Monitor inventory levels and support material planning to ensure uninterrupted production.

· Prepare and analyze purchase orders, cost comparisons, and supplier performance.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to procurement and logistics.

· Work closely with internal departments (Finance, Warehouse, Production) for proper coordination of deliveries and requirements.

Qualification:

I. Technical Skill

· At least 2–5 years of experience in Purchasing, preferably in a PEZA-registered company.

· Proven experience in import/export processes, including documentation and customs procedures.

· Knowledgeable in PEZA rules and regulations.

· Experience in material planning and inventory control.

· Familiar with customs processes and coordination with brokers and government agencies.

· Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems

II. Soft Skill

· Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skill

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Good time management and organizational skills

· High level of integrity and accountability
