Responsible for the contract management of G&A contracts within the region, supporting global business operations through the review and management of assigned G&A contracts. Additionally accountable for purchasing activities for assigned MRs in compliance with AP302 Procurement Procedures and AP307 Invoice Procedures.Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure that the day-to-day activities within the team are carried in accordance with the company HSEQ policies.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements, and our Management Systems.
- Be fully responsible for the safety in their area of authority.
- Perform sourcing of materials and services for assigned requisitions for vessels or projects, including issuing requests for quotations, following up on clarifications and quotes, evaluating quotations and associated costs, selecting suppliers, and issuing Purchase Orders, in accordance with established purchasing processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with client contractual requirements.
- Evaluate and negotiate appropriate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Follow up on deliveries to support the timely fulfillment of assigned POs.
- Ensure the timely closing of assigned POs.
- Support monthly PO accrual reporting for assigned POs, in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement files and system records.
- Ensure that assigned PRs & POs reflect accurate values, statuses, and relevant data parameters.
- Ensure timely handling of invoices in accordance with the established invoice handling procedure.
- Evaluate and manage deviations from standard terms and conditions, and lead commercial evaluation of bids and negotiation with suppliers to support the finalization of agreements.
- Support tendering activities from a commercial and contractual perspective, ensuring competitive outcomes.
- Lead the resolution of contractual disputes with suppliers, in coordination with the Legal Team, as required.
- Provide guidance to procurement stakeholders on contractual matters, including negotiation support and management of deviations from company terms and conditions.
- Facilitate technical clarifications of quotes.Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or other relevant education or business qualification in Procurement, Business Administration, or Contract Law
- Advanced English Language

- Minimum 1 year of experience with contracting
- Minimum 3 years experience with purchasing
- Experience as a purchaser from the oil & gas or maritime industry
- Ability to review contracts and identify commercial risks
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills
