This role requires a high level of initiative and independence. The successful candidate will proactively drive PR opportunities, establish best practices for country teams, and elevate Timezone's brand visibility through consistent, compelling earned media coverage across key markets.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, develop, and maintain a rolling pipeline of PR stories aligned with Timezone's brand, business priorities, and cultural moments.
- Translate business activity, data, and operational insights into media-relevant narratives without reliance on constant campaign launches.
- Build and manage a comprehensive regional story bank, working closely with spokespeople and internal stakeholders to surface unique, newsworthy angles.
- Lead media pitching end-to-end, including outreach, follow-ups, relationship management, and securing coverage.
- Support selected country teams in building effective PR practices by providing strategic guidance, frameworks, and hands-on support where needed.
- Act as a PR advisor to country marketers, helping them identify local PR opportunities while ensuring regional alignment.
- Develop and continuously improve a PR toolkit, including press release templates, media outreach guides, pitching frameworks, and reporting dashboards.
- Establish clear PR processes and standards to enable consistency and efficiency across markets.
- Draft and refine press releases, media materials, and corporate communications, ensuring clarity, relevance, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Create PR-led content for LinkedIn and other relevant social platforms to amplify earned media and corporate initiatives.
- Review and approve press releases from country teams, providing clear, constructive feedback to strengthen impact and messaging.
- Oversee the publishing of approved press releases on the TEEG website.
- Track and report on PR performance across markets, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in public relations, preferably within the consumer, lifestyle, entertainment or leisure industry.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive PR initiatives, from idea generation to execution and results.
- Strong writing and communication skills with an ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Experience pitching to media and owning relationships with journalists and media partners.
- Familiarity with the media landscape in the Philippines is a plus.
- Comfortable working across markets, cultures, and stakeholders in a regional role.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
