Role Description
The role holder shall be responsible for managing our relationships with our clients/ stakeholders and ensuring that their needs are met in regards to the highest quality of service we can provide. He/ she requires the ability to work in an objective, non-biased and collaborative environment which is essential for establishing positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders partnering with Business Development associates and Client leadership. Candidates must have substantial knowledge regarding Social Media, Digital Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations that encourages creativity and flexibility in handling crises.
Main Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Leads development of PR strategies and client recommendations.
- Develops key messaging and produces materials such as press releases, new features, op-eds, scripts and other copywriting for publication.
- Directs creative teams for the development of needed multimedia materials
- Coordinates team efforts in campaigns and amplification efforts.
- Conducts research on clients brands, products, services, and industry landscape to stay ahead of the curve in key developments and competitive positioning.
- Assists in managing project resources and ensures deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Leads client meetings and takes detailed notes to ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Handles, extends and develops media and stakeholders relations.
- Prepare reports and metrics analysis for clients.
Business Development:
- Helps identify potential opportunities within existing and possible client accounts and assists with business development initiatives.(Pitches, Networking activities and events etc.)
- Monitoring day-to-day activities/ engagements for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate project timings and budget monitoring with client communication updates.
- Contributes to campaign development by conducting research, compiling media lists, and maintaining campaign calendars.
- Helps track agency and vendor costs and assists with invoice preparation and administrative tasks.
- Maintains organized project files, contact databases, and campaign documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any 4 year course (Communications, Business Management, Sociology, Psychology is a plus)
- 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Sales
- Proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel or equivalent programs
- Exceptional ability in working with client stakeholders and Media representatives
- Proficiency in Press Releases, Media Relations, and Public Relations
- Strong skills in Communication and Strategic Communications
- Strong drive to work and develop business relationships with Clients
