What you will do:
- Government & Legislative Stakeholder Engagement: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key legislators, government decision‑makers, and LGU officials to strengthen the company's government network and advocacy efforts.
- Public Affairs & Policy Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of public affairs and government relations strategies, including influencing policy through strategic partnerships and advocacy initiatives.
- Government Liaison & Representation: Serve as the primary liaison and spokesperson between the company and government entities, ensuring effective communication and alignment on regulatory and policy matters.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee adherence to government procedures and regulatory requirements across restaurant operations to maintain strong LGU relationships and mitigate risks.
- Internal Advisory & Brand Positioning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reinforce McDonald's brand positioning with government partners and contribute to the development of public affairs and government‑related company policies.
What we are looking for:
- At least 5 years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Legislative Affairs.
- Strong legislative exposure, preferably with experience working in Congress, legislative offices, or government institutions.
- Preferably a lawyer by profession, with solid experience in legal, regulatory, and government processes.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; legal or policy writing experience is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel nationwide as required.
