The successful candidate will teach graduate-level courses in Public Administration and related fields, and therefore should demonstrate excellence in advanced instruction, curriculum design, and scholarly research with strong community impact.
The position requires the development of innovative syllabi, the pursuit of original and policy-relevant research with community impact, and active participation in the Universitys governance and public service initiatives.
The faculty member is expected to provide academic advising and mentorship to graduate students while contributing to the mission of GPS in fostering effective governance, policy innovation, and ethical leadership.
Qualifications
At least a Masters degree in Public Administration or a closely related discipline (Doctorate preferred)
At least two years of distinguished graduate- or upper-level college teaching experience
Demonstrated expertise in governance, public policy, public sector management, or related areas of administrative practice and research
Industry experience in government and/or public service is an advantage
Evidence of research productivity and active involvement in community development or policy-oriented projects
