Job Summary
The On Call Psychologist provides part-time psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and emotional support to children in the residential facility. This role plays a crucial part in addressing trauma, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns through evidence-based approaches and in coordination with the multidisciplinary care team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, interviews, and evaluations.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children in need.
- Develop and monitor individualized care plans based on psychological findings.
- Coordinate with social workers and staff in managing behavioral cases.
- Offer crisis intervention and mental health first aid during emergencies.
- Document psychological interventions and progress notes.
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to case management strategies.
- Provide recommendations for external psychiatric referrals when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Psychologist with a valid PRC license with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in child or trauma psychology.
- Has a strong understanding of child development and behavioral interventions.
- Available to render part-time services and attend scheduled case meetings.
