Job Overview

Royal Canin's ambition is to be the health through nutrition company creating a better place for pets. Aligned with our OGSM, we want to build long-term strategic relationships with Key Customers to support their development and reinforce Category Building. The main purpose of the PSR Key Account Manager is to lead and strengthen the national key account strategy of Royal Canin Philippines in Pet Specialty Retailing (PSR) Channel by establishing, maintaining and developing the customer relationship with the Key Accounts of the business (online/offline/omni). With the goal of increasing sales and especially expanding and securing the (online/offline) market share / market position of RC and guaranteeing the accomplishment of PSRO Channel's strategy and vision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maximize all business opportunities with the PSRO Key Accounts: brand visibility in the stores, portfolio assortment, marketing activations, promotions, listings and availability. Develop the brand's offline presence in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Responsible for Perfect Store execution
  • Maximize all business opportunities for the online platforms: visibility on the website, portfolio assortment & listing, e-marketing, online promotion, newsletter presence, social media presence. Develop the brand's online presence in collaboration with Omnichannel Manager
  • Lead Joint Business Planning; prepare and implement annual/quarterly meetings with key accounts
  • Negotiate and close annual agreements with the Key Accounts
  • Develop customer strategy and ensure smooth implementation of this within the framework of joint business with the customers
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Marketing Team (Offline, Online, Category) to implement the measures and goals agreed upon in the annual key account meetings
  • Ensure the correct coordination and support from other RC departments (Supply, CS, Finance, etc..) to facilitate processes efficiency and communication
  • Manage budget within the scope of key accounts & take full P&L responsibility for assigned accounts
  • Analyze and observe the retail market, competitors, customer needs and online market development with the aim of expanding the market position and further develop business; lead in exploiting the possible potentials
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting of the demand plan specific to key accounts, feeding DMRs; compile and analyze statistics and possible trends
  • Ensure close working relationship with PSRO Sales Manager and BDMs to secure perfect and consistent execution in store
  • Ensure Key Account's adherence to internal policies such as credit collections

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Experience managing key accounts, dealing at headquarters level
  • Experience driving and accelerating Omnichannel (offline & online) strategies
  • Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) to a variety of audience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient use of office tools Microsoft Office Software, particularly Excel, data spreadsheets and PowerPoint
  • Ability to engage customers and function as a team player and project leader
  • Ability to manage priorities, multiple tasks and remain focused in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English written and spoken, to add other language
