About the Role:

As a Proposal Manager, you'll play a key role in helping our teams win new business. You'll guide and support cross-functional teams as they create strong, high-quality proposals in response to client requests (such as RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs).

This role is all about organization, collaboration, and clear communication. You'll help bring together ideas, ensure everything meets requirements, and shape proposals that clearly show the value Xerox can offer to clients.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with federal business teams to create compelling proposals that meet client needs and highlight Xerox's strengths
  • Manage multiple proposals at the same time, keeping everything organized and on track through final submission
  • Serve as the main point of contact for proposal teams, guiding them through each step of the process
  • Lead kickoff meetings, regular check-ins, and final review sessions to ensure alignment and progress
  • Create clear plans and timelines, assigning tasks and keeping teams accountable
  • Track progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
  • Review, edit, and improve proposal content to ensure clarity, quality, and consistency
  • Ensure all proposals meet federal requirements and follow required submission processes and tools
  • Reuse and adapt strong past responses to improve efficiency and quality
  • Contribute completed materials to internal knowledge resources for future use

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in proposal or bid management is a plus
  • Familiarity with U.S. federal contracting (including GPO contracts) is helpful
  • Comfortable using online tools for submitting proposals and managing documents
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once
  • Clear communicator who can guide teams and keep stakeholders informed
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive content
  • Ability to work well with different teams and build relationships across the organization
  • Experience leading meetings and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting teams under tight deadlines
  • Understanding of the sales process, especially when working with senior-level stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in team-based or matrix environments
