Our client is a respected national provider of trades and infrastructure services across Australia. They deliver commercial and government projects and regularly prepare detailed, compliance-driven tender submissions and capability statements.

They are seeking a skilled designer to elevate the quality, branding, and professionalism of their bid and marketing materials.

About the Role

We are seeking a design-driven Bid & Proposal Designer to support a growing construction business.

This is a layout and document design role, focused on producing high-quality, brand-aligned tender submissions and large quote documents.

If you have experience working within a construction, engineering, or infrastructure company and enjoy transforming technical content into polished, professional proposals this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and format 1015 large tender/quote submissions per month
  • Create and update branded proposal templates
  • Develop capability statements and corporate documents
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with brand standards
  • Work closely with leadership and estimators to present technical content clearly and professionally
  • Collaborate with marketing (social media managed separately)

This role focuses purely on layout, formatting, and visual presentation not pricing, bid strategy, or technical writing.

Requirements

  • Experience within a construction, engineering, or infrastructure company
  • Proven experience formatting tender/bid submissions
  • Strong skills in:
  • Adobe InDesign (essential)
  • PowerPoint
  • Layout and typography
  • Comfortable working with compliance-heavy documents
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Available to work Australia business hours
  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace
