Title Examiner (Remote)

Help Ensure Every Real Estate Transaction Starts with a Clear Title

Every successful real estate closing begins with an accurate title examination.

We're looking for an experienced Title Examiner to join our growing U.S. title team. If you enjoy researching ownership history, solving complex title issues, and producing accurate title reports, you'll play a key role in helping real estate transactions move forward with confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Examine title searches, deeds, mortgages, legal descriptions, and public records
  • Research the chain of title and verify property ownership history
  • Identify liens, judgments, easements, restrictions, encroachments, and other title issues
  • Analyze title findings and determine requirements that must be satisfied before closing
  • Prepare title commitments, title reports, and supporting documentation
  • Investigate discrepancies and help resolve title-related concerns
  • Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to clear title issues efficiently
  • Maintain organized files while managing multiple transactions and deadlines
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality work while meeting turnaround expectations

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience as a Title Examiner, Title Analyst, Title Officer, Title Abstractor, Title Specialist, or a similar title industry role
  • Strong understanding of title examination and real estate transactions
  • Experience reviewing deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, legal descriptions, and ownership records
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience with a title company, settlement company, or real estate law firm
  • Experience supporting residential and commercial real estate transactions
  • Familiarity with title commitments, underwriting requirements, title production software, and county recording systems
