A Property Management Officer is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and financial performance of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. The role ensures that properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and the property owners investment is protected and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day property operations and ensure smooth management
Manage tenant relations, including inquiries, complaints, and lease concerns
Facilitate tenant onboarding, lease agreements, and renewals
Monitor rent collection and follow up on overdue payments
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the property
Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance staff
Ensure compliance with local laws, safety standards, and building regulations
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking
Maintain accurate records of tenants, contracts, and property activities
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality standards
Qualifications Education
Bachelors degree in:
Business Administration
Real Estate Management
Property Management
Engineering (preferred for technical properties) - Civil

Experience
13+ years of experience in property management, real estate, or facilities management
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and time management abilities
Basic financial and accounting knowledge
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
