Property Management Bookkeeper (Yardi)

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour break

Salary: $1300

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Yardi Accountant / Lease Administrator to support accounting and lease administration functions for a property management team. This role requires hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager and the ability to work within U.S. business hours. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in property management accounting, is highly organized, and can manage both financial and lease-related tasks with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks using Yardi Voyager
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and journal entries
  • Assist with bank and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and periodic close processes
  • Generate financial and property reports as needed
  • Assist with lease administration tasks, including reviewing lease agreements and tracking key terms
  • Support CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and operating expense tracking
  • Maintain accurate financial and lease records across properties
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience using Yardi Voyager in a property management or real estate setting
  • Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial support roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (AP, AR, reconciliations)
  • Experience with lease administration or willingness to support lease-related tasks
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management or real estate accounting
  • Familiarity with reviewing office and retail leases
  • Experience preparing CAM reconciliations or operating expense reconciliations
