Role Description This full-time, on-site Property Engineer (Licensed Mechanical Engineer) role is based in Mandaluyong and is responsible for the technical operation and maintenance of building mechanical systems. The Property Engineer monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, supervising repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and preparing maintenance and incident reports. The role also involves supporting renovation or upgrade projects, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and company standards. The Property Engineer collaborates closely with property management and other facility staff to provide a consistent, high-quality environment for occupants and clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with practical experience in building systems and facilities operations.
  • Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for analyzing equipment performance and supporting system upgrades.
  • Demonstrated ability in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Valid Mechanical Engineer license in the Philippines and relevant professional certifications are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and local building codes and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond effectively to urgent maintenance issues.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Prior experience in property or facilities management, particularly in commercial buildings, is an advantage.
