Job Description


Role Description The Property Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasay, responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems. This role oversees the daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as other critical infrastructure. The Property Engineer coordinates and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance, conducts regular inspections, and responds promptly to technical issues and resident service requests. The role involves working with external contractors and vendors, managing work orders, and maintaining accurate records of repairs, equipment performance, and compliance checks. The Property Engineer also assists in implementing energy-saving initiatives, safety protocols, and asset protection measures to ensure the property remains in excellent condition and aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

* Preferably a licensed Electrical Engineer with 2 years and up experience in a Condominium setting.

  • Proficiency in building systems operations, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, with experience monitoring and maintaining these systems in a residential, hospitality, or commercial property setting.
  • Strong skills in preventive and corrective maintenance, including scheduling, inspection, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of equipment and facility issues.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply best practices in workplace safety, risk mitigation, and emergency response.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation, and to maintain accurate logs and reports.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, with a practical, hands-on approach and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with colleagues, residents, management, and external contractors in a professional manner.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field; professional licenses or certifications in engineering or building operations are an advantage.
  • Experience in high-end residential or hospitality environments is preferred, along with a service-oriented mindset and commitment to quality and reliability.
