Role Purpose
Handle and negotiate property damage claims for personal injury clients, ensuring damages are properly documented, valued, and resolved for maximum recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate property damage, causation, liability, and financial impact.
- Review repair estimates, photos, inspection reports, policies, and supporting documents.
- Identify undervalued damages, coverage issues, and improper denials.
- Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, carriers, repair shops, contractors, and attorneys.
- Prepare damage evaluations, repair estimates, and claim summaries.
- Negotiate with insurance carriers for fair settlements.
- Track claims from intake through resolution and follow up consistently.
- Support attorneys and case managers with property-damage expertise.
- Maintain accurate documentation in claims/case management systems.
Ideal Candidate
- 5–8 years of property damage/insurance adjusting experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and adjusting practices.
- Proven experience evaluating damages and negotiating settlements.
- Strong analytical, investigative, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Professional English proficiency; Spanish-speaking preferred/required.
- Experience managing multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in claims-management software and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience working the night shift or graveyard shift is strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to consistently work 12:00 midnight–9:00 AM, on-site in BGC.
Preferred
- Personal injury law firm or insurance carrier experience.
- Auto property damage and total-loss claims experience.
- Filevine or similar case-management experience.
- Xactimate, CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex experience.
- Insurance/claims certifications.
