Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for assigned properties.
  • Record and reconcile rental income, common area maintenance (CAM), utilities, and other property-related revenues.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and tenant billings.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
  • Ensure timely collection and proper posting of rent and other charges.
  • Coordinate with property managers regarding billing issues, delinquencies, and expense controls.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local tax requirements.
  • Assist in tax-related filings relevant to property operations, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 13 years of accounting experience; property or real estate accounting experience is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals may be considered.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information.
