Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant - Property Management role based in Las Piñas. The accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records for multiple properties. The role includes preparing monthly and annual financial statements, assisting with budgets, tracking income and expenses, and supporting financial reporting for management and property owners. The accountant will coordinate with property managers and other departments to ensure timely billing, collections, and payment processing, and will help maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The role also involves preparing reports for audits, responding to financial inquiries, and recommending improvements to financial processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage property-related financial transactions and records.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to support management decision-making.
- Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries (Accounting) and reconciling accounts accurately and on schedule.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work with spreadsheets, ledgers, and financial databases.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple property accounts simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with property managers, owners, and internal teams.
