Job Description
The Surveyor performs surveying work to determine exact location and measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas and contours on earth surface to secure data needed in construction.
Performs evaluation of cadastral map and land valuation reports for prospective and newly awarded projects. Performs line in grade surveying to determine plumbness and alignment of structure and lay-out for architectural works.
B. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Education : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering
- Experience
At least (10-15) years technical work experience in surveying and field operations
Knowledge of surveying principles, practices and techniques for land surveying, geodetic surveying, and engineering surveying
Knowledge of /skills to operate surveying instruments, such as total stations, etc.
Knowledge of engineering practices, methods and design
Ability to read and understand construction plans
Knowledge of/skills in mathematics
Knowledge of/skills in MS Office-Intermediate
CADD software-Intermediate
Knowledge of environment, health and safety standards and procedures
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, an advantage
Verbal and written communication skills-Intermediate
Professional attitude and appearance
Licensed Geodetic Engineer
