Project Scheduler (High-Volume construction/Rebuild Projects) | WFH | Dayshift

A construction scheduling role that puts your coordination skills to real use across a live portfolio of 30 to 40 concurrent residential and commercial projects per project manager, with full autonomy over rescheduling decisions and direct contact with site teams every day.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on scheduling position embedded within a construction project management environment focused on insurance repair and rebuild work. You will own the schedule across a high-volume portfolio of active jobs, making real-time rescheduling calls when rain, trade gaps, or scope changes disrupt the program and coordinating directly with site supervisors and trades to lock in revised dates before anything gets updated. The project managers you support are running 30 to 40 concurrent jobs, and your job is to absorb the scheduling and coordination load so they can stay focused on delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

▸Build and maintain construction schedules across a high-volume portfolio of residential and commercial insurance repair and rebuild projects.

▸Reschedule jobs autonomously in response to rain delays, trade unavailability, or scope changes, confirming revised dates with site supervisors and trades before updating the program.

▸Issue purchase orders to subcontractors and trades as directed by the project manager, verifying availability and accuracy before dispatch.

▸Make and receive phone calls with site supervisors, tradespeople, and project managers to gather progress updates, confirm scheduling decisions, and resolve blockers in real time.

▸Monitor daily and weekly task completion against KPI targets, tracking progress across a live project load.

▸Support project managers in freeing their capacity by absorbing scheduling, rescheduling, and trade coordination workload across their full portfolio of concurrent jobs.

WHAT YOU BRING

Demonstrated background in construction scheduling, with the ability to build and maintain detailed project programs across concurrent jobs at pace.

Strong coordination skills spanning project managers, subcontractors, site supervisors, and property owners — with the confidence to make and follow up calls independently.

Proven ability to perform delay analysis and develop recovery schedules without needing to escalate every decision upward.

Experience working in the insurance repair sector is highly advantageous and may be treated as a hard requirement; candidates with this background will be given strong preference.

Clear and professional verbal communication for daily phone-based coordination with site teams and trades across a demanding, fast-moving workload.

Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume environment with multiple concurrent projects running simultaneously without dropping accuracy or pace.
