Job Summary
As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing project schedules to support successful program and project delivery. You will work closely with project managers and key stakeholders to ensure project timelines are aligned with business objectives, risks are proactively managed, and critical milestones are achieved. This role requires strong expertise in schedule planning, forecasting, critical path analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), dependencies, milestones, and delivery phases.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and forecasted outcomes.
- Conduct schedule quality reviews to ensure logic integrity, minimal constraints, and an accurate critical path.
- Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and scenario planning to mitigate potential delivery impacts.
- Track project milestones and provide accurate forecasting, progress reports, and look-ahead schedules to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment and delivery transparency.
- Identify schedule risks, issues, and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
- Communicate project status, dependencies, and schedule impacts to stakeholders while managing expectations effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project Professional.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Delivery Operations Control, Project Scheduling, Program Controls, or a related function.
- Strong experience in developing and managing complex project schedules across multiple workstreams.
- Proven ability to perform schedule forecasting, critical path analysis, and progress reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret project data and provide actionable insights.
