Job Description:

The Project Sales Engineer combines deep technical knowledge with sales acumen—to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. Understands customer challenges, recommends tailored technical solutions, delivers demos and proposals, and helps close deals while ensuring customer success both pre- and post-sale.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed discovery to understand customer needs, craft solution proposals, deliver demos and answer technical queries
  • Collaborate with internal engineering/procurement teams to customize industrial solutions that meet client specifications.
  • Work alongside contractors, designers/architects and consultants to identify leads, build financial business cases, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Lead compelling onsite or virtual demonstrations that highlight product value, ROI, and competitive advantages
  • Track competitor activity and industry trends to shape product roadmap, sales messaging, and go-to-market tactics
  • Communicate customer insights to Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams; support trade shows and industry events.

Qualification:

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical course is preferred.
  • Has at least two years of experience as sales engineer or sales representative in the construction industry, with direct engagement with general contractors, electrical contractors, designers, architect, consultants, and construction management teams.
  • Fresh graduates are also considered.
