Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Planner to support the successful planning, scheduling, and coordination of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and interior projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scheduling- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules covering design, procurement, production, logistics, and installation activities.
- Establish project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Update and manage baseline project schedules based on project progress and scope changes.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure realistic planning across all project phases.
- Track project progress against approved schedules.
- Identify schedule variances, delays, and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate planning documentation and project records.
- Support project teams in meeting key milestones and delivery deadlines.
- Work closely with design, procurement, production, logistics, and project teams to align schedules and resource requirements.
- Assist in forecasting manpower requirements, material lead times, and production capacity.
- Ensure project timelines are aligned with client expectations and operational capabilities.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, scheduling conflicts, and potential delays.
- Develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions.
- Support project teams in resolving time-sensitive project execution issues.
- Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates.
- Communicate critical timeline changes and planning updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide planning insights and forecasting data to support decision-making.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls within furniture manufacturing, interiors, construction, fit-out, or related industries.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and maintaining project delivery schedules.
- Understanding of FF&E workflows, manufacturing processes, and installation schedules is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar planning and scheduling software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Professional certification in Primavera P6, MS Project, PMP, or equivalent preferred.
