Must have at least 2 years of experience working in Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Relations programs, or organizational planning and development experience with administrative functions, coordination and association with the different departments of the company
Must have a bachelor's degree, preferably with background in behavioral science, social work, community development, and or business
Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills
Preferably with extensive network in government, NGOs, NGAs
Primary Function:
The Project Officer is responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of plans and programs which would both enhance and ensure the sustainability of projects assigned to the incumbent.
Job Responsibilities:
Develops plans and programs which are responsive to the company's thrust to focus on education while maintaining initiatives related to enterprise development as well as health and disaster response
Networks with key stakeholders (national/local governments, non-government organizations, SMC business units, private sector and other stakeholders)
Coordinates with partner organizations on all aspects of project management, including roles and responsibilities, implementation guidelines, monitoring and evaluation of programs, and other areas of collaboration
Conducts periodic/timely assessments and studies on the impact and benefits of the project on the company, the community, the beneficiaries, etc.
Reviews, monitors, and evaluates programs assigned and introduces new or alternative procedures/systems, whenever necessary
Prepares a report to Management on the programs progress which would include recommendations, proposals, tools, and techniques to maximize program impact and benefits
Assists the Executive Director in preparation of business plans, presentation materials, and other materials that may be required from the Foundation
Represents the company in functions/meetings conducted by organizations where the Foundation is an active member
