Job Description:
End-to-End Project Management:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the warehouse expansion projects from initiation to migration and completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
Site Selection and Evaluation:
- Identify potential warehouse locations based on strategic business needs and growth projections.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and due diligence to evaluate location suitability.
- Collaborate with property brokers, consultants, or owners to negotiate property acquisitions, rates, lease terms.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operations, logistics, security, IT, product, procurement, commercial, finance, and legal teams, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and government agencies involved in the expansion process.
- Provide regular updates to management and other key stakeholders on project status and any potential issues.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee procurement of materials, assets, equipment, and services required for warehouse expansions and migrations.
- Identify and mitigate any financial risks associated with the project.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address them.
- Resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during the project, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Implementation and Handover:
- Oversee the fit-out construction, setup, and operational readiness of new warehouse facilities.
- Coordinate the smooth transition of the new facility to the operational teams, including training and support as needed.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future projects.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, budget reports, and risk assessments.
- Prepare final project reports and presentations for executive leadership.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in project management and warehouse operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in warehouse management.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Management/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in strategy, project management, and/or process excellence.
- Great track record of successful project management is required.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
- Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking abilities with a strategic and cost-conscious mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and working under pressure.
- Willingness to travel as needed to potential warehouse locations and project sites.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
