SUMMARY:
The Automation Manager is supporting Tenet's strategic goals and improving Tenet's business performance by leading Automation initiative & projects. Key activities include business process assessment and analysis, process flow mapping, improvement opportunity identification which may include process improvements or automation opportunities. The role will manage and implement Lean Six Sigma Projects and automation projects for the Global Business Center
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using the DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improvement and Control) framework: lead or assist Workstream Operations team to identify opportunities for improvement, analyze and investigate root causes, identify improvement solutions and plan for improvement actions, implement and standardize improvement actions.
- Measure and baseline process performance
- Analyze current business processes and perform process assessments, if needed document process flow using SIPOC models or other applicable tools

- Identify opportunities for improvement which may include but not limited to process improvement and optimization or process automation.
- Create Cost – benefit analysis / ROI analysis for potential improvement opportunities.
- Develop implementation plans for improvement projects and initiatives
- Create and implement playbook for automation.
- Develop framework and process for automation
- Develop Process automation solutions which may include but not limited to excel macros/ VB macros, MS Sharepoint or Team, Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions
- Drive the realization of Value / cost savings results and outcomes for continuous improvement and automation projects assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or any relevant degree
- Minimum 4 years experience in software programming and Robotics Process Automation
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- Experience in a shared service center environment, with proven experience in Continuous Improvement, Automation, Lean six sigma.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships across diverse geographies/locations and business units
- Demonstrated understanding of ethical behavior, exhibiting ability to ensure his own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with company standards and values of the organization
- Fundamental knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Business Process Analysis and Process Automation practices
- Must have excellent communications, team working, leadership, and change orientation skills
- Willingness to travel.
- Have 7+ years of experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Process Engineering, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Automation. Experience working in a shared service organization serving US business units
- Master's Degree, Blackbelt certifications
- Bachelor's or Masters in Business, Statistics, Math, Comp Sci, Economics, Physics, Engineering or related scientific disciplines
- Work experience of 3-4 years of relevant experience of leading and performing as a business excellence lead or advisor in BPO or service sector and 5-8 years of overall experience in any of the following - Insurance, Contact Center, Health Care, Pharma
- Experience in statistical tools, RPA and related projects in RPA, Project Management and Demonstrated strong understanding of Process modeling tools and concepts
- Certified Green Belt from a reputed organization (on par with ASQ, BMGI, ISI, etc.).
- Have 7+ years of experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Process Engineering, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Automation. Experience working in a shared service organization serving US business units
- Blackbelt certifications
