Job Summary:
The Project Manager will lead and oversee projects within the food industry, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives from concept to completion. This role requires expertise in food operations, supply chain, and compliance, with strong project management skills to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage food industry-related projects, including product launches, operational improvements, and process optimization.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the food industry or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean, etc.) and software tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
