We are seeking an experienced Wind/Solar Farm Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our wind energy projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will manage on-site personnel, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure adherence to Global Wind Organization (GWO) standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for wind farm construction, including civil and electrical works.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific codes, standards, and GWO certifications.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver milestones efficiently.
- Supervise Civil and Electrical Inspectors, ensuring quality control for turbine foundations, substations, HV/LV systems, and SCADA installations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
- Prepare and review project documentation (reports, designs, permits) using MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management tools.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental sustainability.
Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related field).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in the wind industry, with proven project management experience.
- Certifications: Valid Global Wind Organization (GWO) certification (mandatory).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred: Familiarity with SCADA systems, HV/LV infrastructure, and turbine installation.
