We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale capital and infrastructure projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Develop and implement project strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of major engineering initiatives.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and performance tracking systems.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on milestones, expenditures, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Manage high-value capital projects, including facility expansions, plant upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Construction & Vendor Management
- Evaluate and recommend contract proposals and project agreements for approval.
- Lead and oversee contractors, consultants, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure construction and engineering activities comply with approved specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Drive contractor performance to achieve project objectives while maintaining quality and compliance.
Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination
- Oversee permitting, regulatory documentation, and compliance requirements necessary for project implementation.
- Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, and service providers to secure timely approvals and clearances.
- Ensure project activities adhere to applicable government regulations and company policies.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and other business functions to align project deliverables with organizational goals.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations that support operational efficiency and long-term asset reliability.
- Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives related to facilities and engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline; professional licensure is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in project engineering, plant engineering, construction management, or capital project execution within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, project management methodologies, construction practices, and occupational safety standards.
- Experience managing large-scale capital projects from concept development through commissioning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools is preferred.
- Willing and able to perform regular site inspections and field-based work.
- Must be willing to work full-time in Laguna.
