Project Manager – Product Management
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Product Management experience to lead end-to-end software delivery in a Scrum/Agile environment. The ideal candidate combines strong project delivery and stakeholder management skills with hands-on experience in product backlog ownership, requirements definition, prioritization, and translating business needs into actionable product requirements.
The role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and product objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software projects within a Scrum or Agile environment.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery commitments.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring requirements are prioritized and aligned with business goals.
- Partner with stakeholders and product teams to define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Translate business and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Balance project delivery commitments, scope, product value, and stakeholder priorities through effective decision-making and trade-offs.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other cross-functional teams to drive successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions to stakeholders.
- Lead stakeholder touchpoints to review progress, resolve concerns, and align on priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, Agile practices, tools, and team collaboration.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners when applicable.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet defined business requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected product outcomes.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing Agile software delivery projects in IT, software development, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience working in Scrum/Agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and retrospectives.
- Proven experience in Product Management or Product Ownership, particularly in backlog ownership, requirements definition, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and Agile software delivery.
- Experience creating or working with user stories, acceptance criteria, product requirements, and prioritization frameworks.
- Strong project management skills covering scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead without authority and influence cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to balance delivery discipline with product value and business priorities.
