Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and service-driven Project Manager to lead front-of-house operations for meetings and conferences. This role is attendee-centric and focused on delivering a seamless, professional, and welcoming registration experience across the full event lifecycle.

As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for attendee experience, the Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all participants—ensuring they are informed, supported, and taken care of before, during, and after each event. This is a hands-on, operations-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in guest-facing environments, enjoys problem-solving in real time, and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary attendee-facing SME, ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout all event phases
  • Lead and manage front-of-house operations, including registration desks, check-in counters, and attendee flow
  • Ensure timely distribution of invitations, confirmations, and event-related communications to all attendees
  • Verify attendee lists, badges, credentials, and access requirements with high accuracy
  • Welcome and assist attendees onsite, providing directions, guidance, and support as needed
  • Proactively resolve attendee concerns, inquiries, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Coordinate closely with event planners, organizers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution
  • Monitor attendee experience in real time and implement improvements as needed
  • Troubleshoot registration issues, last-minute changes, and walk-in scenarios effectively
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and registration data
  • Uphold brand standards and deliver a consistently high level of hospitality and service

Qualifications

  • Mid–Senior level experience in hospitality, events, conferences, or front-of-house operations
  • Proven background in guest-facing roles such as front desk, concierge, guest services, or event operations
  • Strong confidence in engaging, assisting, and communicating with diverse attendees
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in standard office tools and event/registration systems (e.g., Excel, email platforms, Cvent)
  • Experience supporting corporate meetings, conferences, or large-scale events
  • Familiarity with event registration platforms (e.g., Cvent or similar tools)
  • Formal training or education in hospitality, tourism, or event management
