Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and successful outcomes. The role requires strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities, risks, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors/partners for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to track progress and ensure accountability.
- Ensure proper resource allocation and availability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize appropriate project management methodologies, systems, tools, and techniques to monitor project performance.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget changes through proper change management processes.
- Monitor project risks, identify mitigation plans, and resolve issues proactively.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and present regular project status updates, reports, and escalations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all project records, deliverables, and communications.
- Facilitate project meetings, follow-ups, and action planning to drive completion of deliverables.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize project execution and operational processes.
Detailed Areas of Responsibility
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and required resources.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring smooth implementation and execution.
- Coordinate, organize, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including implementation teams, solutions architects, customer personnel, product teams, vendors, and business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Track and document project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
- Maintain structured and transparent communication with all stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related concerns, updates, and escalations.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure proper project execution and resource utilization.
- Manage project budgets and resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to approved costs.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies to minimize operational and project impact.
- Implement and manage change control processes, including documenting, evaluating, approving, and communicating changes to project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Utilize project management methodologies, systems, tools, and techniques to monitor project performance and productivity.
- Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and updates to leadership and stakeholders as required.
- Escalate critical issues, delays, risks, or blockers to management as needed and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all project documentation, records, meeting notes, action items, and deliverables are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and follow-up discussions to ensure accountability and progress tracking.
- Conduct project closeout activities, including final documentation, lessons learned, and transition planning where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Maintain regular and accurate time logging, reporting, and compliance with company project governance standards.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and other business projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.
- Additional certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, or CAPM are an advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience, including managing medium-sized projects and cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments.
- Background in operational, HR, technology, implementation, or business process improvement projects is an advantage.
